He is known as the “Godfather of Jazz Jams in Portland” for hosting jam sessions in the area for decades. Steen’s jam sessions have included musicians of all ages and backgrounds\, making them a cornerstone of Portland’s jazz community.\n\nThese sessions are known for their inclusivity\, providing opportunities for younger musicians to learn and grow. Steen’s jam sessions have helped develop notable artists like Chris Botti\, Ben Wolfe\, George Mitchell\, and Phil Baker.\n\nRon’s talent\, generosity\, kindness\, and warm smile are the essence of who he is.\nJoin our party\, reserve early.
