DESCRIPTION:Heather Keizur\, a jazz vocalist who sings in both English and French\, is emerging as one of the most unique and gifted singers on the Northwest Jazz scene. When asked why she sings in French\, Heather says\, “I grew up in Canada where I fell in love with the French language. It’s so musical\, it’s beautiful to simply hear it spoken. Add that to the poignant melodies and lyrics written by greats like Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel\, and I am compelled to sing these passionate songs.” \nShades of Dalida\, Ella Fitzgerald\, Nat King Cole and Henri Salvador can be found in Heather’s latest CD\, Under My Skin\, a sultry\, expressive\, soothing\, and romantic album with classic ballads\, jazz standards and some authentic French chansons.
