DESCRIPTION:Tim Ribner is a collaborative pianist\, composer\, improviser\, educator\, and sound enthusiast.  He has collaborated with singers\, instrumentalists\, dancers and youth from around the world.  In Portland\, he has worked with Portland Center Stage\, BodyVox\, PHAME Academy and various Portland Public Schools music and theater departments.  He has also music directed for youth dance programs in Colorado and New York City.  Tim has composed for Wieden + Kennedy\, Skinner/Kirk Dance Ensemble and choral works for the University of Wyoming.  Tim attained a BFA in jazz and contemporary music from the New School (New York)\, and an MSW from Pacific University (Oregon).
