An Evening with Peggy Lee & Frank Sinatra
Linda Lee Michelet and John Gilmore will be singing the best of Peggy Lee & Frank Sinatra backed by an 8-piece band in an intimate 50s nightclub setting at Wilfs Restaurant & Bar.
Linda Lee Michelet: Linda has been performing in the Portland area for the past 15 years. Her swinging style is compared to the late great Peggy Lee. Linda has received rave reviews from The Oregonian, The Portland Tribune, and was a featured story in MORE Magazne. TV appearances include OPB’s ArtBeat, and nationally syndicated Better TV. Linda and pianist Joe Millward have created and performed several shows in the northwest including tributes to George Shearing, Peggy Lee, Burt Bacharach, Anita O’Day and Nancy Wilson. Linda’s CD “One Kiss” features original Peggy Lee/Quincy Jones arrangements. Linda’s big band has been seen at Tony Starlight’s, and Cathedral Park Jazz. lindamichelet.com
John Gilmore: John is a pianist and vocalist whose musical career spans 40 years. As a solo act, he has appeared at the worldrenowned Jimmy’s Restaurant in Beverly Hills, a six-year engagement where he performed regularly for such notable customers as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Stevie Wonder, Cher, Natalie Cole and many others. Since moving to Portland in 1992, he has performed solo and in group settings at such venues as the Benson Hotel, Portland City Grill, Wilf’s Restaurant and Bar, the Oswego Lake House, Arrivederci, Tony Starlight’s Supperclub and Lounge, the Allison Inn, the Riverview Restaurant and at numerous social events and corporate functions throughout the Portland area. His debut CD, “For My Father & Frank,” is a tribute to Frank Sinatra and his dad, Voyle Gilmore, who was Sinatra’s record producer from 1953 to 1958.

Quite simply, the cover charge is equity paid directly to the artists that you are enjoying each night at Wilfs.
When you join us for drinks or dinner and plan on leaving before the 7pm music starts, we won’t ask for a cover charge. That does not mean you can come early and avoid paying the cover – we want to make sure our musicians are paid for their performance. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask your host.
