Come celebrate Ron, Portland’s music master, with us and Kiran Raphael and Liam Hathaway and Sonia Oyola!
More about Sonia Oyola
“Solone is a well-known singer, composer and musician originally from Cicero, Illinois. He plays piano in clubs all around Chicago including Sundays at Gibson’s Steak House on Rush St. He teaches music at the Old Town School of Music where he first met Oyola, a Family Medicine Physician for more than 15 years, and formed a singing duet one year ago.
Solone got the evening started with a four-minute piano solo of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 (the theme from the film Elvira Madigan) leading into the Lennon-McCartney hit, “Yesterday”. Oyola seamlessly added her smooth voice with Solone to make Paul McCartney’s famous solo into a marvelous duet. The duo segued into another Beatles’ tune, “In My Life”.
The radiant Oyola stepped forward to sing Stevie Wonder’s 1976 hit, “Isn’t She Lovely”. She dedicated the song to her children.”

COVER CHARGES apply when Wilfs features live music in our dining room and bar area – Wednesday – Saturday, 7pm.
Quite simply, the cover charge is equity paid directly to the artists that you are enjoying each night at Wilfs. Our new policy includes a $5 charge to all dining in our main dining room. We thank you in advance for your support of insuring equity for all.
When you join us for drinks or dinner and plan on leaving before the 7pm music starts, we won’t ask for a cover charge. That does not mean you can come early and avoid paying the cover – we want to make sure our musicians are paid for their performance. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask your host.
